What the industry has said about David:
Fairmans films and photography are sensitive, while we are lured by his utterly romantic images. Maybe it is because of Fairmans work in advertising, that his self-inspired work is deliberately escapist and that we are constantly reminded of Dutch Still Lives or of such films as Le Balloon Rouge. Fairman attempts to encourage the public to accept photography as an art form which he has succeeded in doing so excellently
C.Maurice: ARTS REVIEW
One bright and shining chapter in independent film is the fantasy of romantic comedy called "Lighthouse Hill." Producer/director David Fairman and screenwriter Sharon Y. Cobb mix whimsy worthy of Fellini with realistic dollops of love and hope in a happy saga. And, as a film, "Lighthouse Hill" beckons us all.
